Utopia Salon, Spa and Wellness Center-Enhanced Health and Safety Measures

Social Distancing:

• Plexiglass dividers are installed at check-in/checkout, shampoo/styling stations, and manicure/ pedicure areas
• Only staff and clients receiving services by appointment will be permitted in facilities
• Limited occupancy in salon, spa, and wellness center
• Signage and floor markers are in place to guide guests
• Observe social distancing 6 ft. apart

Screening:

• Customers will be screened by email within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment and then a second time immediately upon arrival at the business
• Any customer or staff member who reports having any symptom consistent with COVID-19 in the last 72 hours, or having had exposure to an individual suspected of having had COVID-19 in the last 14 days, will not be permitted to enter Utopia
• Temperature checks will be taken on all clients and staff prior to entry, regardless of symptoms. Individuals with a temperature over 100.4 are not permitted to enter facilities
• Sick staff will remain home, and can only return to work in a manner consistent with CDC guidance

Appointments:

• All services are by appointment only. No walk-ins are permitted
• Clients are required by NJ to wait in cars until notified to enter
• Please arrive on time and we will notify you when your service provider is ready
• Appointments will be spaced to allow for cleaning and disinfecting between customers

Face Coverings:

• Everyone in the premises must wear masks or a face covering at all times unless receiving service that precludes doing so, or when wearing a mask or face covering would inhibit an individual’s health
• Staff providing any skin care service that requires the removal of the client’s mask will wear a face shield or goggles in addition to a mask
• Manicuring staff and clients will be separated by plexiglass and wear masks

Sanitation:

• Equipment and high touch areas will be cleaned and disinfected frequently
• Touchless hand soap dispensers and paper towels have been installed
• No product sharing between stations
• Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the establishment
• Best hygiene practices will be followed- frequent hand washing and sanitizer provided
• Staff has been trained in proper cleaning, disinfecting and other preventive measures

Miscellaneous Safety Precautions:

• Reusable items such as magazines and samples have been removed from premises
• Coffee and beverage stations and cookies have been removed
• Our software will maintain contact information for all appointments
• Clients should limit personal belongings to cell phone and form of payment, no handbags
• Spa beds will be sheets only, blankets by request only
